#oh god excuse my emotions but i want to rant because this gif is perfect #i’ve read a few aaron paul quotes where he basically says that jesse isn’t a bad guy #and that if it wasn’t for walt he’s still be this peaceful dope selling shitty drugs #even in the later parts of the series after the ptsd and trauma you can see really see this side of jesse thst is very childlike #he connects with children way better than adults #he isn’t very intelligent both intellectually or emotionally #half of the time when he gets angry he’s basically throwing temper tantrums #and he’s been forced to grow up a lot since like..the second half of season 2 but he’s still sort of lik #this little boy that’s been thrown into this horrible situation and doesn’t seem to fully fall into it like walt #the drive for jesse doesn’t come from his own list for power or his ego #he’s like this pretty little idiot that wants to play with kids and be told by this guy he idolizes that he’s good enough #and he is..for all of his crowning moments of badass #very much a child #and sometimes its actually really nice to see that he still has that and he can react to the world with joy and wonder and curiosity and … #just never change okay
